Home Business Tips – Cold Hard Reality
This article was inspired by a great post over at the Warrior Forum. It basically laid it out in plain English what is required to make it online with your own home business. Oddly, if you read many of my previous articles on this subject, you will find that I’ve been saying these same things for years… just in a rather round about and “nice” way. Well, today, I am taking the gloves off because some people still don’t get it. If you have a problem with cold hard reality, you might not want to read this.Let me start off with this one right off the bat…there are no shortcuts. If you want a home business and want to be successful, there is no pushing a button and making it happen. You will have to spend long hard hours learning a ton of things such as communication skills, tech skills and marketing skills. Depending on how many smarts you have in your head, that will determine how quickly and easily you “get it.” Some people NEVER get it. THAT is the reality.Another thing that you will have to get used to is this. There is no free ride. You will either pay for your education and success with your money or your time. If you want to go the completely free route then you will be spending hours writing articles, doing SEO or whatever. If you value your time and don’t want to waste it on these activities, then you will have to pay somebody to do them for you. Take your pick. It’s one or the other. Finally, you will NOT get rich overnight. It took me YEARS to get to where I am today. I didn’t just wake up one morning with a silver spoon in my mouth. In fact, I lost my job before I even started my own home business. I was out of work and out of time. I was on the verge of losing my home. You want to know what scary is? THAT is scary. Unless you’ve been there, you can’t possibly know what it’s like. And in spite of my urgency, I still needed years to make it.It’s time to come out of that little fantasy land that you’re living in and face reality. Nobody gets to the top of their profession overnight. Even Michael Jordan had to practice for hours a day before he made it to the NBA. He wasn’t born with his great playing ability. He had to develop it…just like everybody else. So, you can develop your business like everybody else does or you can continue to live in your dream world of waking up one morning to hundred dollar bills falling from the sky.YOUR choice. To YOUR Success,Steven Wagenheim
