Business Building Entrepreneurial Mindset Tips About Your Speed Of Implementation

How often do you find yourself on a webinar without taking notes? How often have you seen a webinar, thought that it was awesome business building information and then found yourself on the next webinar without implementing the first? The solution lies in being able to organize the way in which you receive the new information and them implement the new ideas and strategies into your business every week.It was Jim Rohn who first introduced me to the idea of keeping a journal, at the time I put it into action in it’s most literal form and started literally charting my activity in a diary. That is a great way to track your progress and results by the way, but it was only when I started to understand the real value of keeping a journal was to be able to record “pearls of wisdom” that I gained from books, courses and CD sets that my business started to flourish.Jim Rohn always advocated that he would buy a journal that cost at least $26.00 so that it reminded him to only write things of great value inside. So here comes the twist for today’s home based business owner straight from the lips of a multiple six figure earner. On a recent leadership call I was introduced to the idea of keeping two journals, one for marketing mastery and the other for mindset or self-mastery. These are physical books or files where you have made notes and filed them logically for you to refer to at a later date. Now that is an extremely good idea – don’t you think? If your business is flourishing due to your mindset journal, do you think that you would have even better results in your business if you also kept a marketing journal? I can tell you first hand that it will.People learn in different ways, some like to read to learn, some like to listen and some learn best by watching a video tutorial, but nothing beats absorbing a lesson and then writing notes in your journals just as you did at school. You will find that understanding and speed of implementation comes much faster than trying to keep it all in your head or filed away on your computer hard drive.A great way to make sure you are implementing new things into your business each and every day comes by making a list of 3-5 business building tasks to implement each day. At the end of each day record against each of the items on your list one of these phrases. This was a success, I want more of those or this was a failure I do not want more of those. It will not only provide you with great feedback on the progress of your business but you will also be telling your subconscious mind that you want more successes and less failures at the same time.
