Bill Gates once remarked “640k ought to be enough for anybody!” Which information he didn’t follow through on, but as far as I am concerned he certainly was worth his wages.Without his foresight where would we be? As Thomas Watson Chairman of I.B.M. in 1943 said that he thought there would be a market for about five computers. And, went on to build one of the largest computer companies in the world.This was the same company who Bill Gates and his partner Paul Allen introduced their operating system to at that time known as PC-DOS to.I.B.M. were at the time the largest computer company supplying large companies with computers that filled whole rooms with their hardware. This was in 1980 amazing to see where they are now, is yours on you lap.What has this to do with affiliate marketing? Microsoft started as a small 2 person company in 1975 and it has grown into the major company it is now by being driven by one goal, to give the best value to its customers it could.Microsoft had another bright idea, they didn’t sell computers they sold operating licenses to other manufacturers which in reality meant that the manufacturers allowed Microsoft to be their affiliates.Along the way Microsoft’s operating system became the industry standard, it didn’t start out to become that it simply happened. In my opinion because of the way Microsoft allowed manufacturers to set their personal standards. (freedom of choice)It has become a recognised fact in good schools that pupil motivation comes from a feeling of choosing their own curriculum. That may sound a little difficult to control, but stop and ask yourself “If your boss/supervisor at work was to ask you your opinion on how best to achieve a set target” how would you react.We all appreciate respect and that is what this is about, perhaps not initially but when it is stripped down to the bare bones, when you are given choices you feel less intimidated.Therefore as an affiliate marketer give your customer the respect they require to make qualified decisions and watch your R.O.I. shoot through the ceiling.There are affiliate marketers who do nothing else who generate six and seven figure incomes using these strategies, why not join them.
