That statistic proves one thing, that women are exploding on the business scene especially home based businesses! In fact, the number of women involved in business ownership has grown 1000% in the last 30 years!Women are the force behind new entrepreneurial activity in the U.S. evidenced by the fact that women are entering home business ownership at a pace twice as fast as that of men. These facts alone should cause us to salute women in our culture and encourage their efforts to improve their financial position in life.While women are fast entering the home business market they are still shut out of large corporation management. Of the American corporations with over $1 million in sales annually, only 1 out of 5 CEO’s are women. So the statistics don’t lie, women know that their best shot at business success is in a small home business.There are several reasons why women are especially successful at work at home business models. First, women have far more interest in schedule flexibility and freedom. Women know that the kind of time flexibility they desire is not available in the big corporations. Secondly, women are more concerned about the time they have to spend with children and attend school functions. A small home business gives the freedom to stay involved in their kids lives.Since women are the future of home income ventures the biggest challenge facing them will be finding the right opportunity. There are so many scams and schemes in the online world that it is hard to identify programs that are legitimate. But it is obvious that despite the difficulties women are finding meaningful ways to prosper financially and maintain their families and freedom.
