Are You Still Commuting?

The other day I was on a field trip with my son and we were driving back to the school during rush hour. I found myself asking how people could do this on a regular basis. Having been involved with an online business system for many years, I had forgotten what a commute was. The thought of sitting in traffic for hours on end just getting to and from a job was a bit mind boggling. I was going over in my head what I could be doing with this time. How many calls could I make, who I could talk with about the products or business, what could I be doing with my children?I got into a work from home business for a couple of reasons, but really did not include the commute and time involved with it into account. The average person spends 3 hours commuting to and from work every day. This makes a total of 15 hour per week, which is more than I work in two days. And to think that this is only the average, many people spend more than this.Working from home has so many advantages that many people dismiss because they feel that this type of work is not a “real business”. Too many perceive an online business systems as a scam or get “rich quick” scheme that only benefits the person promoting it. Not all are like this; in fact there are many out there that are very legitimate and extremely lucrative if you put the effort needed to make a successful endeavor of it.Think about the extra time you would have if your commute was only 30 seconds. Think about the stress you would not have from sitting in traffic with all the other unhappy drivers. Think about how much happier you would be and what that would mean to your family as well as your personal health. How would you feel if the only time you had to spend in traffic was at the line in the grocery store, or taking your kids on a field trip? Think about it!
